These lenses are not designed for conventional cameras and digital cameras with image sensors larger than 24mm x 16mm. At Tamron, our quest has always been to make the ideal zoom lens. It was a great lens to learn how to use the manual features of my Nikon D90 because the lens is so slow and difficult to get a good shot (especially indoors) unless you learn how to set the optimal settings of shutter speed, aperture, focus, and ISO. So I am thankful for my Tamron lens because it taught me to appreciate the better features of better quality lenses.
