Does its job, but the batteries were a pain to get

I bought this as a cheap wireless remote for my Canon XS because it does not have its own sensor for Canon's wireless remote.

this thing is cheaply built and i o not like how long the antenna is, but it works well enough.

the main complaint i have about his product is that it uses 2 DIFFERENT and unusual sorts of batteries. a CR2 and A23. I had to buy the CR2 online because I refused to pay Walgreen's outrageous price of $10 for one single battery, but I still shelled out $7 for 2 CR2s. the A23 was $6 for two at walgreens. oh well. hopefully the batteries will last me awhile.

Great device

I bought this for a trip to Hawaii. I have a Pentax K20D and from other places it seems Pentax and cannon wireless remotes are compatable. This one is. Works great on my camera and a Cannon XTI that I also have access to. Only thing bad I could say about it is the built quality feels cheap. For the price I expected this though so I am very satisfied.
